Overview

To drive awareness and increase footfall to both airside and landside retail and dining outlets, by connecting the emotional experience of the airport with the value of shopping at Malta International Airport.

The Challenge

Airports often feel transactional — places where the focus is purely on getting from point A to B. The challenge was to break that mindset and reframe the airport as more than just a stopover. We needed to create an emotional connection that encouraged travellers and visitors alike to slow down, explore, and genuinely enjoy the shopping experience, whether they’re airside or landside.

The Solution

An emotion-led campaign around the idea of “Land Your Moment”—an invitation for people to make the most of their time at the airport. Instead of rushing through, we encouraged travellers and visitors to find small but meaningful moments: a quiet coffee before a flight, a joyful reunion, or the excitement of last-minute shopping.

These real, relatable experiences were brought to life through storytelling and visuals, seamlessly paired with curated shopping and dining options to show that the airport can be more than a transit point — it can be a destination in itself.

The word “land,” played on both the physical act of arriving and the emotional grounding that happens in moments of connection, anticipation, and pause.
